Open Universe by Ricci Albenda

Created out of bend willow ribs

“the project is a large-scale hanging sculpture representing a three-dimensional sketch which is centered around one location, so that when a viewer moves around the piece it appears to transform while remaining static”

Everyday objects- can you guess which one?
This object is dispensable and serves as a organizational tool in our daily lives. It harbors no emotional attachment; it simply serves a purpose. Together the objects communicate a sense of disarray, disharmony, and disorganization. Chaos increases anxiety as well as it may bring about a peace as an act of protest. Devoid of their garments the hangers remain hollow.
